Meet at ST.MAX BBQ building at 8:00 AM
Dress very comfortable - shorts, tennis shoes, baseball cap and kitchen apron. *The kitchen and dinning area is not air-conditioned.
Finish around 1:00PM-1:15PM depending on the crowd. Feed 275-425.
OK to bring family and kids (over 15 yrs old, younger if with parents) and friends.

St. Max provides everything needed-food, paper goods, and many misc items to help run the soup kitchen such as cleaning supplies, seasonings, etc.

Upon arrival the group will prepare the meal, serve around 11:45 AM, and help with clean up.
The menu is usually baked chicken, pasta salad, vegetables, dessert, and tea to drink. YUM!

Get on I-10 and go thru downtown Houston.
Second exit after downtown is 59S to Victoria-Take It.
Stay in far right lane and exit: Hamilton-Downtown Destinations (About 1/4 mile) - Star of Hope will be on right as you go down exit ramp. Second light is Franklin-take left.
Go thru light at Chartres St. (you will be under I59) stay to right and on St Emanuel (first street) take a right.
Next street is Congress take right. At light at Chartres, take right (all you did was go around block).
Loaves & Fishes is on right. Parking is on the Congress St. Then say… “that was easy.”
