Drop Policy:
Students will be dropped and unable to re-register for an ongoing session if they miss the first 3 classes AND there is no communication with the Faith Formation office about the absences.

The mission of St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Youth Faith Formation program is to bring the “Good News” of God’s love to all children and their families and to call them to commit their lives to Christ. Faith Formation classes are available for Preschool children through High School Youth Confirmation.
Grades K through 11 will receive systematic catechesis, based on the framework implemented by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Faith Formation Classes (or Catholic School Religion Classes) are required to be eligible for Sacrament Preparation. Sacrament Preparation has separate registration and meeting times.  

SESSION DAYS/TIMES for the 2024-25 CCE school year (complete calendars can be viewed below or downloaded from the registration page - online registration link also listed below) : 

• Summer Intensive for grades 1-8, M-F 9am-noon June 17-25
• Summer Intensive for High School Su, Tu, Th 6:30-8:30p July 7-25
• Summer Homeschool for grades K-8 (June – August)
• (No longer able to register) Fall-Spring Sunday Session for grades preschool-12 from 2:30-4pm (Sept-April)
• (Must contact Molly) Fall- Spring Thursday Session for grades preschool-8 from 6:30-8pm (Sept - April)
• Fall-Spring Homeschool for grades K-8 (Sept-May)

Please note **Sacrament preparation classes will have separate registration, meeting times and fees from Faith Formation classes.
   

TUITION:

• Tuition Rates
  • Cost for Non-Registered Parishioners (This means your family has not filled out a registration form and does not receive envelopes, not just that you attend Mass here):
    • $90 for one child;
    • $120 for 2 or more children (siblings only)
  • Discount for Parishioners: 
    • $60 for 1 child; 
    • $90 for 2 or more children (siblings only)
• Tuition is due on or by the first day of class. For payment challenges, please contact Molly Smith.
• Our staff can take payment by cash or check. For credit card payments, see the option below.
• Credit card payments can submitted through www.faithdirect.net as a one time payment. (St Max's Parish Code is TX625) All payments should be clearly marked for Faith Formation (YFF or CCE) with the child's name and grade so that we can credit you. 

We rely on parents, grandparents and other volunteers to share their love of Christ with our children and youth by volunteering to serve as catechists. Programs cannot be offered without volunteers. 
Tuition is waived for children of weekly volunteers for in-person Faith Formation!
  You will not be counted as a volunteer (with free tuition) until you have spoken to or contacted Molly Smith. Please watch for emails asking about how your preferred role to serve. 

We encourage parents to be registered parishioners of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church when registering students for Youth Faith Formation classes. Parish Registration/Census can be filled out here: If you are unsure, please contact our office.

Currently, our limitations on registrations are tied to VOLUNTEERS. If we do not have enough teachers, priority registration will be based on:

1. Families of Volunteers
2. Registered parishioners
3. Returning families
4. Date Registration was submitted

Fall-Spring Sessions:

First Registration deadline is Aug 12, 2024
Class availability may be limited after this.
Second Registration deadline is Aug 26, 2024.
Late registration will be based on class openings (teacher availability and class size).
